Product Description
Proven Rodent Control for Over 25 Years
Tomcat All-Weather Rodent Blocks deliver economical, reliable control of rats and mice using Diphacinone, a proven first-generation anticoagulant that has been trusted for more than 25 years. These professional-grade bait blocks are designed for light to moderate infestations and work in all weather conditions.
Each peanut-flavored block is mold and moisture-resistant, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. The stable wax formula maintains palatability even in harsh conditions, while the easy-to-break design allows you to create smaller pieces for strategic placement. Kills rodents in 4-6 days after consuming a lethal dose.

How to Use:
Placement:
- Identify areas of rodent activity (droppings, gnaw marks, runways)
- Break blocks into smaller pieces if needed
- Place bait in tamper-resistant bait stations
- Position stations along walls where rodents travel
- Use 1-2 blocks per placement for rats, smaller amounts for mice
Application Rate:
- Rats: 4-16 oz (1/4 to 1 lb) per placement
- Mice: 1-2 oz per placement
Best Placement Locations: Along walls, in corners, near burrows, along rodent runways, in attics, basements, crawl spaces, garages, outbuildings
Maintenance:
- Check stations every 2-3 days initially
- Replenish as bait is consumed
- Continue baiting until no more bait is taken
- Remove uneaten bait after infestation is controlled
How It Works:
Anticoagulant Action:
- Multiple Feeding: Rodents feed on bait over several days
- Vitamin K Antagonist: Diphacinone blocks Vitamin K, preventing blood clotting
- Internal Bleeding: Rodents develop internal hemorrhaging
- Death: Rodents die from internal bleeding 4-6 days after consuming lethal dose
Why Multiple Feeding?
First-generation anticoagulants like Diphacinone require rodents to feed multiple times over several days to consume a lethal dose. This encourages complete colony elimination as rodents return to feed.
Advantages:
Economical Choice: Diphacinone-based baits offer cost-effective control for light to moderate infestations without sacrificing effectiveness.
All-Weather Formula: Mold and moisture-resistant formulation maintains palatability and effectiveness in wet, humid, or extreme conditions.
Proven Track Record: Diphacinone has delivered reliable rodent control for over 25 years with consistent results.
Flexible Use: Breaks easily into smaller pieces for strategic placement in tight spaces or for smaller rodent populations.
First-Generation Safety: Unlike second-generation anticoagulants, Diphacinone has a shorter half-life and responds well to Vitamin K1 treatment if accidental poisoning occurs.
Safety Information:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS
Warnings:
- Contains anticoagulant Diphacinone which may cause bleeding if ingested
- Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin
- Keep away from children, domestic animals, and pets
- Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing
- Extremely toxic to fish, birds, and wildlife
- For agricultural/rural use only
If Swallowed:
- Call physician or poison control center immediately
- Have person sip water if able to swallow
- Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so
Antidote: If ingested, administer Vitamin K1 intramuscularly or orally. Repeat as necessary based on prothrombin time monitoring. Treatment may be required for up to 30 days.
For Pets: If pet ingests bait, contact veterinarian immediately. Vitamin K1 therapy will be required for extended period (typically 30 days). Do NOT delay treatment—anticoagulant poisoning can be fatal.
Use Restrictions:
- Cannot be shipped or sold in California
- For agricultural/rural use only
- Must be used in tamper-resistant bait stations if used outdoors
Storage & Disposal:
Storage: Store only in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Keep containers closed.
Disposal: Wastes resulting from use may be placed in trash or delivered to an approved waste disposal facility. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed.
Container Disposal: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse. Offer for recycling, puncture and dispose in sanitary landfill, or incinerate where permitted.
Application Tips:
Maximize Effectiveness:
- Always use in tamper-resistant bait stations
- Place stations along walls where rodents travel
- Use multiple stations for large infestations
- Maintain fresh bait until feeding stops
- Wear gloves when handling bait
For Best Results:
- Remove competing food sources
- Seal entry points after infestation is controlled
- Continue baiting for 2 weeks after no bait is taken
- Monitor for new activity
Use Sites:
- Homes (indoors: attics, basements, crawl spaces, garages)
- Barns and outbuildings
- Farm buildings
