Why Walnut Shells?

Naturally Fresh is made from the fibrous material of California English walnut shells — an upcycled, annually renewable resource. Walnut shell fiber has a natural organic ability to neutralize ammonia odors at the source, outperforming clay, pine, wheat, and corn litters without relying on artificial perfumes. The result is a virtually dust-free, low-tracking, silica-free litter that's safer for you, your cat, and the planet. Sustainably produced in solar-powered facilities in the USA. Clay-free, corn-free, grain-free, and biodegradable.

How to Use

Fill a clean litter box to 3 inches deep. Scoop solid waste and clumps daily. Add litter as needed to maintain 3-inch depth. Clean and sanitize the litter box every 30 days. Average litter usage: approximately 14 lb per cat per month.

Transitioning: Start with 1–2 inches of Naturally Fresh in a clean box, topped with your current litter. Reduce the old litter each change until fully switched — most cats adjust in 1–2 changes.

Warning: Only dispose of used litter in trash. Do not flush or bury. Cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii. Pregnant/nursing women, children, and immunocompromised individuals should avoid handling used litter.
