Product Description

Leaping Spirit is Canine Caviar's venison recipe, sourced from all-natural New Zealand venison and paired with pearl millet as the single carbohydrate. Real venison provides a natural source of iron and B vitamins, and as a less common protein, it's a genuinely useful option for dogs who've developed sensitivities to more typical proteins like chicken or beef. The formula also includes prenatal-supportive nutrients, making it suitable for nursing dogs as well as adults and puppies.

Feeding Instructions

To get the best results, feed your dog properly: divide the daily portion into two meals, feeding half in the morning and half in the evening. Feeding amounts will vary according to age, breed, activity level, and environment; adjust accordingly to maintain optimal body condition. Overfeeding may cause loose stools. Always have plenty of fresh water available.

Do not mix with your current food. Canine Caviar recommends a straight changeover, feeding half the recommended amount on the first day. This differs from a gradual transition approach, so follow the packaging instructions closely when switching your dog onto this recipe.

Why We Love It

Venison occupies a nice middle ground in protein rotation: novel enough to sidestep most chicken or beef sensitivities, but still broadly palatable. Customer feedback frequently notes coat improvements and eager eating, even among typically picky dogs. Made in the USA, with the venison itself sourced from New Zealand.

Caution

Keep food in the bag, even if using a container, and store in a cool, dry place for optimum freshness. Please see packaging for the complete AAFCO nutritional adequacy statement.
