Serve dry or slightly moistened in a clean bowl, feeding twice daily. Use the feeding chart on the packaging as an initial guide based on your dog's weight, and adjust accordingly to maintain ideal body condition. Always provide fresh, clean water.

When transitioning to this recipe from another brand, FirstMate recommends a 7-day transition period. Begin by introducing a small amount of FirstMate with the old food on the first day, then gradually increase the amount of new food while decreasing the old food over the course of the week until your dog is eating exclusively FirstMate.
