Seed Selection: The perforated metal screen bottom accommodates any type of seed including tiny thistle/nyjer seeds. You can also offer fruit, suet, mealworms, or peanuts. The versatile design makes it one of the most adaptable feeders available.
Filling: Simply pour seed onto the platform. The 12.75-inch square provides ample feeding space for multiple birds while the 2.5-inch depth holds approximately 3 lb of seed.
Hanging: Use the included hook and cable system to hang from shepherd hooks, tree branches, deck hooks, or pole systems. The open design allows for 360-degree bird access.

Environmental Impact & Maintenance
Sustainability: By choosing this feeder, you're preventing approximately 30 milk jugs from entering landfills. The recycled plastic is durable enough to last for many years, meaning the environmental benefit extends far beyond the initial recycling.
Cleaning: Much easier to clean than traditional wood or untreated materials. Recycled plastic doesn't absorb water, so it dries quickly and resists mold growth. Regular cleaning with soap and water keeps the feeder hygienic.
Drainage: The powder-coated metal screen bottom ensures proper water drainage, preventing seed from becoming waterlogged and keeping it fresh longer. This design reduces seed waste and saves you money.
Durability: The screwed-together construction means this feeder won't fall apart like cheaper glued models. It's built to last for years of reliable service.
