Product Description

Bonide Revenge Pour-On Fly & Lice Control is a versatile, ready-to-use insecticide formulated for comprehensive fly and lice control on beef cattle, dairy cattle (lactating and non-lactating), calves, sheep, lambs, and horses. This multi-method application product combines 1% permethrin synergized with 1% piperonyl butoxide to deliver effective control of horn flies, face flies, lice, sheep keds, and other external parasites. With flexible application options including pour-on, mist spray, wipe-on, and back rubber systems, Revenge Pour-On provides up to 2 weeks of protection per application. The economical 1 gallon size treats 51 head of 500 lb cattle or covers 7,300 square feet of premises, making it ideal for livestock producers seeking efficient, long-lasting parasite control across multiple species and facilities.

Active Ingredients:

  • Permethrin: 1.0% (synthetic pyrethroid insecticide - kills and repels flies, lice, and ticks)
  • Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO): 1.0% (synergist - enhances permethrin effectiveness)

Target Pests:

On Cattle & Calves:

  • Horn flies
  • Face flies
  • Lice (biting and sucking)
  • House flies
  • Horse flies
  • Stable flies

On Sheep & Lambs:

  • Sheep keds
  • Lice

On Horses:

  • Flies (various species)

On Premises:

  • Flies, gnats, fleas, mosquitoes, spiders, crickets, and other crawling and flying insects

Protection Duration: One application provides up to 2 weeks of protection when applied as directed. For lice control, two treatments at 14-day intervals are recommended for complete eradication.

Application Methods:

CATTLE AND CALVES:

Pour-On Application: Apply 1/2 fl oz per 100 lbs of body weight (maximum 5 oz per animal). Pour along the backline from withers to tailhead in a narrow strip. For facial application, pour down the face carefully avoiding eyes.

Mist Spray Application: Apply 1/2 fl oz per 100 lbs of body weight (maximum 5 oz per animal) as a fine mist spray to:

  • Neck
  • Face (avoid eyes)
  • Back
  • Legs
  • Ears

Use spray equipment that delivers a fine, uniform mist. Apply undiluted product.

Back Rubber Application: For continuous passive treatment, dilute 1 part Revenge Pour-On in 4 parts mineral oil, diesel fuel, or kerosene. Fill back rubber reservoir with diluted mixture. Position rubbers where cattle will use them regularly when accessing water, feed, or minerals. Rubbers should contact animal's back and sides as they pass underneath.

SHEEP AND LAMBS:

Pour-On Application: Apply 1/4 fl oz per 50 lbs of body weight (maximum 3 oz per animal). Pour along the backline in a narrow strip. For optimum control of sheep keds and lice, treat entire flock after shearing when parasites are most vulnerable and product can reach skin more effectively.

HORSES:

Wipe-On Application: Use sponge or soft cloth to apply product. Moisten cloth with undiluted product and wipe over face, neck, body, and legs. Pay special attention to legs, belly, chest, and facial areas where flies congregate.

Pour-On Application: Apply along backline from withers to tailhead.

Spray Application: Apply as fine mist to entire body, avoiding eyes and mucous membranes.

PREMISES APPLICATION:

Use as ready-to-use spot spray or premise spray. Apply undiluted in a mist sprayer directly to surfaces, leaving a residual insecticidal coating. Pay particular attention to:

  • Areas where insects crawl or alight
  • Barn walls and ceilings
  • Stall partitions
  • Feeders and waterers
  • Manure storage areas
  • Loafing sheds

One gallon treats approximately 7,300 square feet of premises.

Application Rate Summary:

  • Cattle/Calves: 1/2 oz per 100 lbs body weight (max 5 oz per animal)
  • Sheep/Lambs: 1/4 oz per 50 lbs body weight (max 3 oz per animal)
  • Horses: Apply as needed based on fly pressure
  • Premises: 1 gallon covers 7,300 sq ft
  • One Gallon Treats: 51 head of 500 lb cattle

Reapplication Schedule: Repeat treatment on cattle and sheep as needed based on parasite pressure. Do not exceed 5 oz per animal during any 14-day interval. For effective lice control, apply two treatments 14 days apart to kill both adult lice and newly hatched nymphs from eggs.

Multi-Method Versatility: Revenge Pour-On's flexible application options make it adaptable to any operation:

  • Pour-On: Quick, direct treatment for individual animals or small herds
  • Mist Spray: Efficient coverage for larger groups or hard-to-reach areas
  • Back Rubber: Passive self-treatment system for continuous herd protection
  • Wipe-On: Precise application for horses' sensitive areas
  • Premises Spray: Environmental control to reduce parasite populations

Ready-to-Use Convenience: No mixing or dilution required for direct animal application (except back rubber use). Simply apply undiluted product directly from container or transfer to spray equipment. This eliminates measuring errors and ensures consistent, effective application every time.

Long-Lasting Formula: Up to 2 weeks of protection per application means fewer treatments, reduced labor costs, and less stress on animals. The synergized permethrin formula provides both quick knockdown and extended residual control, keeping parasites off livestock even during peak fly season.
