How to Use:
Setup:
- Rinse out a standard 1-gallon transparent plastic milk, water, or juice jug
- Use only clear/transparent jugs (not opaque or colored)
- Tear open attractant packet
- Place water-soluble pouch into empty jug (do not open inner pouch—it dissolves in water)
- Add 1/2 gallon (2 quarts) clean water to activate attractant
- Slide trap head into mouth of jug
- Agitate lightly to disperse attractant
Placement:
- Hang from handle or place on ground in sunny area
- Position within 4 feet of ground for best results
- Place where fly concentration is high
- Keep away from areas where people gather (attractant has strong odor)
- Hot weather (above 90°F): Place in shade
- Cool weather: Place in sun
Maintenance:
- Check trap regularly
- Dispose when full of flies or when attractant dries out
- Rinse jug and reuse with new attractant, or dispose of entire trap
